TEAM BYRNE vs TEAM CHIENG

In front of 1000 people in Melbourne Town Hall, snide billionaire Ronny Chieng, accompanied by his assistant Dr. Pun-Ishment, led the forces of evil in a battle against valiant Southern gentleman ‘General Happiness’ Jason Byrne. Tegan Higginbookworm became the first female competitor to step into the ring, and triumphed with a submission victory.

Drunk heckler Nick Cody was chokeslammed through the canvas by The Cremator, and Hamish Blake emerged as surprise Executive Referee, restarting the main event to ensure that justice was served, as Max Voltage and Ivan ‘El Guapo’ Gonzalez continued their bitter feud.

TEAM O’HANLON vs TEAM PUNISHMENT
Chaos reigned, as the malevolent Dr. Pun-Ishment led the charge against inspirational Coach O’Hanlon. Before the night even began, MC Nick Helm knocked senseless by ‘The Heavyweight House of Pain’ Stixx, and stretchered backstage – ring announcing duties were taken on by Joe Lycett.
In the first ever one-on-one wrestler versus comedian grudge match, Dan ‘The Hammer’ Head overcame the vicious rule-breaking of his old foe Tom ‘Explosenthal’ Rosenthal.
In the main event, the monstrous BULK made a surprise appearance for Team Pun-Ishment, causing roving reporter Matthew ‘The Pacifist’ Crosby to abandon his journalistic impartiality and step into the ring on behalf of Team O’Hanlon. Finally, Nick Helm returned triumphantly, to exact sweet revenge (destroying a table, Stixx, and himself in the process).

TEAM KANE vs TEAM RICHES

In The Wrestling’s inaugural night of carnage, Russell Kane became bible-thumping preacher Kane Russell and led the forces of good against swarthy crime boss Adamski Riches. A bitter feud broke out between the show’s organisers, as Ivan Gonzalez turned on his double-act partner Max Voltage, brutalising him with a chair and joining Team Riches.

Dan ‘The Hammer’ Head and ‘The Mighty Thwor’ clashed with ‘The Prince of Mumbai’ Rishi Ghosh and Tom ‘Explosenthal’ Rosenthal in the first ever wrestlers-and-comedians tag team contest. In the brutal main event, ‘The Cuddler’ Pat Monahan was chased around the Pleasance Grand by a furious Johnny Moss, Max Voltage snapped his ankle into pieces somersaulting out of the ring, and ‘The Man That Gravity Forgot’ PAC (now the WWE’s Adrian Neville) won the day with a spectacular shooting star press.
